Carlos is a shy and reserved tailor who lives a secluded life in Granada. Nobody suspects that he is actually a ruthless cannibal who seeks the company of Eastern European women to kill them, chop them up, store their flesh in a freezer so he can eat them. But then Nina, the twin sister one of his victims, knocks at his door looking for information about the missing sibling. An unexpected feeling slowly warms up in Carlo. For a man used to committing the most unspeakable monstrosity of all, love is a difficult and dangerous experience.

Declaration

film director

In the film, cannibalism is just a metaphor for evil. We were interested in how it represented something bad in our society. It’s about the presence of evil in all of us, connecting with the normality of our lives, in its banality. Cannibal is a demon’s love story: what would happen if a demon fell in love? If love made him question his actions?”
