A gloomy race against time, in a nightmarish Los Angeles, directed with firm rigor by Bill L. Norton (who then had a flourishing career in TV). With Kris Kristofferson (a famous folk singer, in his first film) and the king of corrupt cops (sheriffs, politicians), Gene Hackman.
