Declaration

film director

“To avoid the drought and the risks of overly conceptual films, we decided to arrange the story within a classical dramaturgic structure, playing with some recognizable genres: noir elements, the love story, the dark comedy of a petty bourgeois couple (the fugitive’s accomplices who become the guardians and wardens of their confined and grotesque world); and there is also some spaghetti western at the end with the epic desert-like landscapes of Sicily’s hinterland."
