Peter Marcias
(Oristano, 1977), director and screenwriter, he made his debut with numerous short films presented at international festivals in Taipei, Giffoni, Istanbul, and São Paulo. He made his feature film debut with Un attimo sospesi, followed by I bambini della sua vita, which won the Globo d'Oro for Best Actress for Piera Degli Esposti, and Dimmi che destino avrò, which had its world premiere at the Turin Film Festival. He has directed numerous documentaries: Liliana Cavani, una donna nel cinema, presented at the Giornate degli Autori and the Moscow International Film Festival; Tutte le storie di Piera, at the Turin Film Festival and winner of the Nastro d'Argento Speciale; Nilde Iotti, il tempo delle donne, at the Venice Film Festival's Giornate degli Autori. Her works testify to a strong interest in cinema linked to artistic, social, and political themes.
