THE BETTER ANGELS

The future President of the United States Abraham Lincoln was still a child when his beloved mother died. So he was raised by his father Tom, a stern and uncompromising man. When Tom leaves in search of a new wife, young Abraham has to look after his sister Sally and his cousin Dennis, protecting them from the cold winter, from wild animals, and from starvation. When Tom returns with Sarah, he immediately rejects her. But after a difficult start, Abraham and Sarah get to know each other and develop an unbreakable bond.
