Three generations of women from the same family share a house in Damascus. Three different ages, three burdens of experiences and memories, but the same desire to share a painful past and try to find a way to move on despite the loss and suffering that surrounds their home. The lives of these women intertwine with the events in Damascus, already plunged into civil war: the city is a constant reference and is observed as it slowly declines, as though it were dying after a long coma. Just like its population.

Declaration
film director
“Facing all this death, I have no missiles and weapons to stop the sense of loss. I only have living between my mother and grandmother, sharing the days with them while we are prisoners of the past in our house. A few months after my first painful encounter with solitude during the war, the strength of the events pushed me to record every moment in the life of these women. This is why it was first my testimony, second the testimony of these women, and third the testimony of my city Damascus”.
