Declaration

film director

“The film is based on the original pictures taken by Hafid, a kid who stole a phone but forgot to deactivate the photos’ auto-sync. This way, the phone’s legitimate owner could see on her computer all the pictures that Hafid was taking with her phone. The misadventure turned into a website, a sort of personal revenge from the phone’s owner. And that’s where my work started. The film plays with the characteristics of fictions and documentaries, creating an experiment that reflects on spaces, real and digital, and their connection with the being human: visible, behind the camera, present only in the frame.”
