Taciturn, introverted Kat and moody, spiteful Rose are left on their own at the prestigious Catholic private school they attend. Supposedly, their respective families didn’t come get them for winter break. In the meantime, Joan, who has escaped from a mental asylum, is more determined than ever to reach the school, regardless of the cold and snow. As the girl approaches the school, Kat and Rose slip further and further into horror.

Osgood Perkins (New York City, NY, USA, 1974) has acted in successful movies such as Six Degrees of Separation (Fred Schepisi, 1993), Wolf (Mike Nichols, 1994), Legally Blond (Rob Luketic, 2001), Secretary (Steven Shainbergm, 2002), Something’s Cooking (Allison R. Hebble and Zed Starkovich, 2007) and Star Trek (J.J. Abrams, 2009). He has appeared in TV series such as She Spies, Alias and Close to Home. February marks his directing and screenwriting debut.

“My intention for February was to design a darkly beautiful film that could attempt to reflect my own intense experience with profound and shocking loss. Inspired by what I consider to be the most humanistic of all horror classics such as Rosemary’s Baby, Carrie, Don’t Look Now and Let the Right One In, the idea was to look past senseless violence and aggressively distasteful imagery and instead use the more elegant rhythms of the genre to conceal what is essentially a very personal story.”
