Fifteen years have passed since the atomic war and the world has been reduced to a desert. In fields and forests, a group of survivors hunts and seeks refuge from the night and the cold: eight girls led by an old woman, the only one who knew the world before the Holocaust. One day, in the broken-down Hotel Ozon, they finally come upon an old man. Directed by Jan Schmidt, a member of Prague’s Nova Vlna, a poetic, cruel and distressing example of the zenith of Czech sci-fi.
