Valmala, 1945. The was is about to end and a group of partisans is camped out at the sanctuary. Caterina, a courier, discovers that the Alpini of the Republic of Salò are going to carry out a rounding up operation. She is unable to warn the partisans, however, and they are attacked on the morning of March 6.

Daniel Daquino
Daniel Daquino (Saluzzo, Cuneo, Italy, 1980) works as health education specialist since 2012 and has been making video and cinema workshops for elementary, middle, and high schools. He directed a few documentaries on the Italian resistance movement, as well as some shorts and documentaries. Neve rosso sangue (“blood-red snow”) marks his professional debut in feature films.
