Miguel and Johnny have been friends since forever. They are young, carefree and want two things out of life: to skateboard and have fun. Their one setback is finding enough money to keep living the good life, but the two solve this problem by selling their blood to a clandestine go-between who works with hospitals. But the expedient quickly turns into a real business and the game takes a serious twist sooner than expected.

Declaration
film director
“In I Promise You Anarchy my intention was to play with noir cinema. It is also a mix between documentary and fiction. In this movie we didn’t hire professional actors, and the cast could play in a natural and relaxed atmosphere. I tried to stay most of the time focused on the script. In most of my work I don’t use it, but this time I really wanted to be attached to the text, but in the end I didn’t, the vitality of the cast surpasses the script.”
