WILD IN THE STREETS

WILD IN THE STREETS
by Barry Shear
Country: USA
Year: 1968
Duration: 94'

“Fourteen or war!” is the battle cry with which rock star Mark Frost calls his fans to a demonstration in favor of lowering the voting age to fourteen. And war it is, the protest mounts throughout the United States, the elections are won by the very young, Max runs for President, people over thirty-five are reeducated with LSD. A minor, political fiction cult movie from the years of the counterculture, based on a story by Robert Thom and starring Christopher Jones and Shelley Winters (Max’s mother), chaotic and inventive.
