Declaration

film director

“Larangan Prison (literally meaning ‘Forbidden Prison’) is a spatial representation of Aiman’s mental state. It is a character in its own right – dark yet sterile, with corridors echoing faraway sounds as if haunted by the past. As Aiman navigates the corridors in search of spaces his father spent his last days, he is also journeying deep into himself. He stares into the abyss and confronts his fears, eventually finding his way into the gallows.”
