In the summer of 1962, the Finnish boxer Olli Mäki is hired to challenge America’s Davey Moore, the world featherweight champion. Declaration

film director

“The basic mood in The Happiest Day in the Life of Olly Mäki is light. Although it’s a story about an existential crisis and finding oneself, it is crucial to the narrative that we don’t wallow in the mud but, instead, fly like a kite.”
