The way animals move in the air is not flight per se: it is more of an aleatory, unintentional, and uncertain way of twirling in the air in a seemingly sinister performance. An animal like a bat is both a quadruped and a flying creature; and yet, it is ultimately neither one nor the other. It is, so to speak, a monster.

Tommaso Donati
Tommaso Donati (Lugano, Switzerland, 1988) graduated from the International Film & Television School in Paris and works in photography, documentary filmmaking, and experimental cinema. He participated to the Torino Film Festival in 2014 with the short Il fiume dell’orco.
