A performance, a video, a photo-novel. The film was mostly shot inside the National Gallery of Modern Art in Rome during the exhibition Time is Out of Joint and in occasion of the art show Vacanze (curated by Anna Cestelli Guidi) at the Spazio/Arte gallery of the Auditorium in Rome. The performance was later presented in Venice at the painting gallery on the piano nobile of Ca’ Tron during the exhibition Performative Lecture (curated by Rachele Palma), and finally at the art gallery Office Project Room in Milan during the show Dialoghi, Demetrio Giacomelli-Mauro Folci (curated by Matteo Cremonesi).

Mauro Folci
Mauro Folci teaches performance art and sculpture at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. His work as an artist stems from reflection over the various linguistic forms of contemporary major cities, focusing in particular on those forms that trace the vanishing lines of the dominant productive language. His works have been exhibited by Italian and international institutions, including: the Kunstverein in Frankfurt, the Fondazione Baruchello in Rome, the Neue Kunstforum in Cologne, the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo Sofía Ímber in Caracas, the PAN in Naples, the MAXXI and the MACRO museums in Rome, the SUPEC in Shanghai, the Centre Pompidou in Parigi, the Museum Reina Sofia in Madrid, the Haus der Kulturen Der Welt in Berlin, the Venice Biennale, and the CCCB Arts Santa Mònica in Barcelona.
