Declaration

film director

“Drive me Home is the story of two best friends who reunite after years
of silence and incommunicability. They are young emigrants, dissatisfied
with the place where they were born and grew up, and this is why they
decided to live “somewhere else.” Compared to the emigration we are
witnessing today, which involves non-European countries, my
protagonists Antonio and Agostino are Italians, profoundly solitary, and,
like many others, they inevitably want to belong to a culture which isn’t
their own. They are lost souls in search of a lifeline, of a value which our
generation has trouble recognizing: their own origins.”
