Declaration

film director

“During an acting course, which I led together with Melina Pereyra, I met Stella, the mother of one of our students. The objective of our course was to make a film with our students as protagonists. However, after meeting Stella and seeing her condition, I felt compelled to suggest that we make a film centered on her, with the group covering secondary roles. As a consequence, we would not only give visibility to a deplorable reality, but we could also accompany Stella: sharing in moments of laughter and tenderness within a grim context of adversity and powerlessness.”
