Guido used to think he had a peaceful life until something unexpected rattles his relationship with Chiara. As they head to the pharmacy to buy a morning after pill, Guido suggests that she might not have to take it and Chiara is forced to confess her concerns about their relationship. It is the beginning of the crisis: Guido has to pack his bags and move out. But he is unable to be by himself, so he asks his parents and friends for hospitality, putting him in the unusual role of being a witness to their lives and love tangles…

Declaration

film director

“The idea of this movie is to tell that passage in life connected to the end of a love story in all of its painful and ironic complexity […]. It’s a journey full of setbacks and yet every step we take helps us understand something more about ourselves; we receive fundamental support from the people we encounter along the way, people who can give us a different perspective on things to help us reach that “recovery” that used to seem so far away.”
