Carlo Cagnasso
Carlo Cagnasso graduated in film history. He is one of the founding members of Il Piccolo Cinema, a mutual aid society for film, along with Gianluca and Massimiliano De Serio and Beppe Leonetti.

“It always happens to me to do little things that I don’t know the meaning of and then put them aside. Often these things have to do with certain whims that I now recognize, in this case the atomic bomb and the nature and rituals that man performs to scrape along. At a certain point these things – which are attempts, notes and little thoughts – approach and mesh with one another, giving life to something that I normally still do not fully understand but which I sense has an important meaning for me. I don’t like stories and the project behind it to build them. Instead, I like the poetry that comes from chance and also from the senseless and lack of control. This short film is therefore an attempt to make poetry.”
