Foga dei passi is made of 9 movements from the cinematographic suite Cinemavita, shot between april 2020 and october 2021. This was a particular period in wich having a simple stroll in the streets would be a challenged right, in wich a natural behavior such as walking outside could be discussed at any moment.

Katia Viscogliosi, Francis Magnenot
Work together since 2002. Within Cinéma Fragile they compose films and books. Their work is based on observation, seeking within the intuition of the moment the connection toward imagination. The creation means are deliberately minimalist. The representation ways include classical and live screenings, publishings, exhibitions. Their work has been seen in many international events.

“Cinemavita is a cinematografic suite, started in 2015 with the film I saw Morandi. Work in progress since then; in constant evolution, today it is made of more than 20 movements composed in vivo, strolling with time. It is a sensitive diary of life we encountered around us, it goes on creating links between thoughts and actions, past and present, observations and imaginations. It’s not theory, it’s a practice: of an artisanal everyday cinema, using deliberately minimal means, guided by the intuition of the moment, attentive to the appearance of beauty”.
