Declaration

film director

Lilith is a long project, in which I developed for 7 years. I wrote it at the Binger Film Lab in Amsterdam in 2014, the production was by TB Produções, my company with Tande Bressane and Julio Bressane, and was co-produced by Carlos Diegues and Globo Filmes, and associated production by Reicine, from Argentina. Lilith deals with the myth of the first woman on earth, who was expelled from all the sacred texts of Judaism and Christianity, but which is a symbol of the women's movements of our times. The film takes place in a mythical time, but what is elaborated is something that directly refers to the issues of today, resignified by today. I believe that Lilith is a film shaped for the new times and loaded with the cinema's traditions of invention.”
