What do you search for in Naples if you have always lived there or if you are visiting it for the first time? Why is the city's soul so different from all the other more popular destinations in the world? Why do people say Naples is magic? And what is the reason for this magic? To find out, the actor and director Marco D'amore decided to cross the city, to lose his way in it, searching for the dazzling enchantment of the magic and the surprise of something that isn't the way you expected it to be. Going beyond the places where the beauty is bathed by the sea and washed by the healthy inland air, you have to dig into the tufaceous rock of its foundations to arrive where the mysteries and legends of Naples are buried. Its spirits and its ancient voices, its ghosts, its myths.

(Caserta, Italy, 1981) is an actor, screenwriter, and director for film and stage. He graduated from the Paolo Grassi School of Dramatic Arts in Milan and performed in numerous theatrical productions before moving to cinema and television. He made his name playing Ciro Di Marzio in the TV series Gomorra (2014-2017, 2021), which he also directed starting in 2019. That same year, he debuted as a director in cinemas with the movie L’immortale.
