Birdy Wei-Ting Hung
(Taiwan) holds an M.F.A. degree at San Francisco University’s School of Cinema. Her works explore gender and sexuality, historical trauma, affect, the abject, and pleasures. She has screened internationally, including Fantastic Fest (Austin, TX), Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive, San Francisco IndieFest. She is a winner of Student Academy Awards in the Alternative/Experimental category. Her research works were published on “cinemedia” and “MAI: Feminism & Culture.” She is a contributing author of Aaron Kerner’s book, Abject Pleasures in the Cinematics.
