Declaration
film director
“The phenomenon of renoviction, present in Montreal, as well as internationally, is our main topic. We decided to bet on the feeling of injustice. We wanted to stage ‘the battle’ that many tenants fight to keep their apartment. This battle is a metaphor to express the internal unjust violence that many suffer. We opted for a certain freedom in style. This allows us to stage slightly surreal moments that plunge the viewer into the heart of the inner world of the protagonists. It is not a naturalistic film, the feeling is in the foreground.”
