Marco Mazzone
(Abruzzo, 1995) lives and works in Rome. He received his degree in film studies from the Rome University of Fine Arts (R.U.F.A.) and a degree in film directing from the Centro sperimentale di cinematografia of Rome. He is presently working in both the film and the video industries.

“Do we really have to set aside our desires and our life in the name of work? Will our work model ever change? To what point are we willing to let work define our lives and the value we give it? These questions gave rise to the title T.I.N.A., ‘there is no alternative,’ attributed to Margaret Thatcher and referring to the impossibility of having a different type of economy compared to the free market and deregulation. At times ironic, at times less so, the short film shows the contradictions of our work lives and reflects on what is happening to us, as it tries to find an alternative, assuming one actually exists…”
