FUTUR FESTIVAL - L'ARCA DEL DORA

FUTUR FESTIVAL - L'ARCA DEL DORA
by Eleonora Danco, Marco Tecce
Country: Italy
Year: 2025
Duration: 8'

Which part of your body is techno? This question opens the short film on the Kappa Futur Festival at Parco Dora in Turin. Moods, images, confessions, and abstract phrases arise from the moment and the atmosphere. Inspired by Robert Rauschenberg’s work, with his desire to work «in the void, between art and life». A tribute to Futurism, where techno music is a flying carpet, a tear, a premonition. Turin and Parco Dora: an ark that welcomes acrobats, dreamers, and the butterflies of the Futur Festival.

Declaration

film director

“When Alì Toscani called me to propose that Marco Tecce and I make a short film during the three days of the Kappa FuturFestival, I was thrilled but also hesitant—I had never been there, and everyone warned me it would be overwhelming. A hundred thousand people, seven stages, DJs changing every two hours. During the site visits, the emotional impact of Parco Dora was immediate. It felt familiar, even though I had never been there, like a teenager skipping school. It contained that embryonic sense of freedom and play I recognize. The steel columns seemed to ignore me, resisting the shots I wanted to capture. Framing it was not easy.”
