Michael Zampino
(Rome, Italy, 1967) is an Italian-French director and screenwriter. A graduate in economics and a former oil industry manager, he made his directorial debut in 2010 with L’erede - The Heir, a psychological thriller. In 2021, he released Governance - Il prezzo del potere, his second feature. The film, released on Amazon Prime and Sky Cinema, was nominated in three categories at the Nastri d’Argento. He also won the Globo d’Oro for Best Screenplay.
