Declaration

film director

Les ailes comes from a deep thematic exploration that has guided me since I am a filmmaker: the contrast between tradition and modernity. Through my filmography, I've delved into the process of renewal and what is left behind. In Les ailes, Jacques represents a distinctly modern Québécois identity; someone watching his world change and having to embrace it. It’s a film about the loss of a plane, but also about coming to terms with aging and allowing life to move forward.”
