Kevin, a struggling actor, hatches a misguided plan to win back his estranged wife, Suzie, after a two-month “break.” He whisks her away to her family’s Adirondack lake house for what he promises will be a romantic second honeymoon — but secretly enlists his bumbling acting-class buddy Ernie to stage a fake break-in so he can swoop in as the hero. When the power fails and Ernie, masked and menacing, arrives at the wrong moment, the scheme unravels into something far more dangerous than Kevin bargained for.
Biography
film director

Jason Biggs
(Pequannock, 1978) is an actor who became famous for roles that embody, with disenchanted irony, the generation of teenagers who grew up between the 1990s and the early 2000s. After his television debut, he gained international fame with Paul Weitz’s American Pie (1999), in which his character—the shy and awkward Jim Levenstein—became an icon of American teen comedy. The film, along with its sequels, brought him mass success but also the heavy label of the “everyman,” a role Biggs would seek to move beyond over the years through more nuanced and mature choices. He has collaborated with independent directors like Kevin Smith (Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, 2001) and acclaimed auteurs such as Woody Allen (Anything Else, 2003), who highlighted his natural acting style and comedic timing, giving him a more complex and melancholic profile. On television, he gained renewed popularity with the series Orange Is the New Black (2013–2019). In 2025, he made his directorial debut with Untitled Home Invasion Romance.
