Broadcasting forced-confession videos for political purposes is a method the Islamic Republic has used since it came to power. Hanie, a woman in her thirties, is a crew member on a video team that shoots these videos, and another woman named Sonia is someone whose confession video is about to be recorded. The encounter between the two causes Hanie to gradually empathize with Sonia and leads her into a moral dilemma.
