Declaration
film director
“The film stems from an encounter with a social reality observed in Moldova. As the director herself recounts, contact with the territory led her to recognize the urgency of telling a story linked to the trafficking of young women, choosing cinema as a tool for awareness and denunciation. Diana’s story develops around a promise: the possibility of reaching Paris and building a new existence. It is precisely in the gap between what is imagined and what turns out to be real that the narrative tension builds. The journey, initially associated with freedom, becomes the site of a painful discovery.”
