YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING

YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING
by Nathan Fielder, Lance Oppenheim
Country: USA
Year: 2026
Duration: 174'

Four days before entering prison to serve a sentence for fraud, Elizabeth Holmes, founder of the startup Theranos, invites a crew to document her every move. What begins as an intimate portrait turns into a three-year journey, in which the relationship between those filming and the one being filmed increasingly blurs the line between observation and staging.

Biography

film director

Nathan Fielder

(Canada), Canadian director, screenwriter, actor and comedian, known for his deadpan, paradoxical humour, which he uses to explore the conventions of theatrical, television and cinematic staging. After his early television work, he rose to prominence with Nathan for You (2013–2017), a series in which he developed his surreal brand of comedy, blurring the boundaries between reality and fiction. In 2022, he created and starred in the HBO series The Rehearsal, followed the next year by The Curse, co-created with Benny Safdie and starring Emma Stone, which explores the contradictions of a couple producing a television show. In 2026, he attracted widespread attention and considerable media coverage with You Can See Everything, co-directed with Lance Oppenheim and focusing on the case of Elizabeth Holmes, founder of Theranos, offering another example of filmmaking at the boundary between staging and truth.
