The main characters of this story are the two brothers, Farruh and "Fatty" - seven and seventeen years old living with their grandmother in a small Tadzik town. Their father, a doctor in a sanatorium, lives separately. The elder brother wants to leave and to take his younger brother to their father hoping to change their lifestyle, to forget the problems they had. The brothers take a train bringing them into a new life with new people and new experiences, close to their beloved father. And the train rushes through hills and mountains, towns and cities. Someone's life is passing, different faces and different places...

Bachtjar Chudojnazarov
Born in Dushanbe in 1965. Graduated from the USSR Cinema Institute (Film direction Department) in 1989. As a student made two short films: Jokers, Believe It or Not (the film was presented to the Forum of Young Cinema in Carlov-Vary).
