Born in Turin in 1957 Maurizio Costa directed many works in video and Super8, among them Grandini (1981), Il giorno della pecora nera (1982), La rapina (1985), Annalisa (1988), and La scarpa rossa (1990), which won a silver plaque at Rimini Round '91.
