A man and a woman are crossing each other throughout almost twelve hours, but they never meet. Marielle is living by herself since a very short time and intends to enjoy entirely of her new freedom. Then, during the night, a man enters her home through the back door… Marielle is immediately sure he wants rape her. Caught unaware, she can just hide herself. From her hideout she'll spy upon her visitor's slightest noise. But, what is he really looking for?

Suzanne Guy
Born in Quebec in 1956, Suzanne Guy has made especially documentary films on a social background. With Le visiteur she's moving closer to fiction films and works out the project for a feature film.
