Dogged Around! takes five minutes to tell of a triple sentence: that of a hasty, insecure, and preevish lover; that of an overworked businesswoman; and that of a forgotten dog. Shut up in a house, the dog is caught in a struggle between his respect for his master's carpets and the thrusting stimulus of a full bladder In the meantime, the answering machine, which he has accidentally turned on, repeats the messages and misunderstandings of a whole day.

"If there is a moral in Dogged Around!, it is surprisingly obvious: despite mobile telephones and Concordes, we still have to know how to wait." (Valentina Torti)
