A telecamera follows the characters moving on stage during a performance of Raffaella De Vita's play Camille Claudel. Used as a way of making gestures, the camera bears witness to the drama and heightens its tension. The shooting is improvised: it is one long take with no subsequent editing.

Vincenzo Fiorito

Born in Eboli in 1952, Vincenzo Fiorito attended the State Art School in Salerno. He has experience in music and multimedia art. His paintings and installations are currently being exhibited in Italian and foreign galleries. He has produced several videos, such as Squali e infanzia abbandonata, presented at the Turin Film Festival in 1986. His present work involves a visual investigation into how an unmarried artist fives his relationship with daily life.
