Pleasant Valley is a little town in the South which was destroyed by Union soldiers during the Civil War. It reopens magically every hundred years to celebrate the anniversary of its destruction and to get revenge. Six tourists from the North have the notso-healthy idea of stopping to spend their vacations in this cheerful town. They are received well and honoured by the mayor. However, one ends up quartered, one is crushed by a stone, one is made into a steak for a barbecue, and one is thrown off a hill inside a nailsrudded barrel. On the other hand, the character played by Connie Mason a 1963 Playboy playmate finds a way of avoiding the consequences of southern hospitality.
