AN ABSOLUTELY NORMAL DAY IN EAST BERLIN

AN ABSOLUTELY NORMAL DAY IN EAST BERLIN

Country: Italy
Year: 1992
Duration: 38'

A documentary film that takes place entirely in the territory of the former East Berlin, with a brief excursion into West Berlin. In front of us there are houses without makeup, big and small streets, children, passing trams, students, and babies.

"A film on the 'new' city where we have preferred image and music over the word. The city passes in front of the eye of the movie camera. Our dream reflected by the light of the white screen is that of stopping this city in transformation behind the comer of a common house." (Roberto Tarallo and Sabin Scholz)
