FACE OF FIRE

Johnson, Dr. Trescott's employee, is horribly disfigured when he saves Trescott's son from a fire. His mental state is severely damaged too, so much so as to cause the doctor to put him up at his expense with a family that lives out of town. However, Johnson misses the environment that he has left, and so returns to the city. His new face much less his mental state must not have pleased the town citizens much, seeing that they organize a patrol to capture him. Johnson was believed to have died in the fire, but he is recognized by Trescott's son. A joke in bad taste sets off in him a shock that makes him return to his senses psychologically. Now he can return to the home environment that he loves without any risks.
