A mover of the masses suddenly finds out that he is alone in the midst of the other people. He tries to convince his followers not to abandon him, The group of the initiates grows as it takes in new groups. They all get to know the mover of the masses better and decide to kill him. During the most horrible and moving phases, a cleaning lady brings in an air of freshness that is so important in an atmosphere that is by then saturated and stale.

"It is a film that takes issue with publishers who pawn off naked women on television and on the printed page. It takes issue with the reputed movers of the masses who do not have enough character. It takes issue with groups of people who are strong or weak according to their numerical potential. The film is shot almost entirely with the shutter held open automatically." (Antonio Rezza)
