Cait is an emotional turmoil sparked off by the end of a relationship. Mad Bad Mortal Beings shows the explosion of images conjured up in her mind as a ritual of recovery begins.

"Initially the script came from the idea of landscapes and physical movement to express emotional feeling. An exp/oration into the visual possibilities of relating a story. As part of New Directors it was a challenge to be pushed into defining and redefining the way this could be done and has helped give me a much stronger sense of my own direction as a filmmaker".
