Four young "hermits" have taken up refuge in Campsirago, a little, abandoned town in the Brianza region. They have fled from city frenzy and factory life and live isolated from the world, without electricity or running water. They are following their dream of a freer life and working to achieve healthful agriculture without additives or chemical fertilizers. Stefano, the lastborn, is only two years old. He is constantly looking for a clownfairy who appears to him sporadically, the imaginary residue of the theatrical companies that often come during the summer to perform in the old courtyard. As we follow Stefano's wanderings, we gradually discover the place and the life stories of the last four inhabitants left.

Elena de Varda
Elena de Varda (Milan, 1967) graduated in painting and graphic arts from the Krakow Academy. Currently she is studying directing at the School of Film Technology of the City of Milan.
