An addict is condemned by fate even before he is by the killers of the international prohibitionist police. He flees through the city, but he will have no way to escape.
"Part of the inspiration for Under control comes trom our watching Dreyer's De naede faergen. It was Dreyer's drawnout presentation of a race against time that inspired the flight of our motorcyclist towards an inevitable end point. Our narration superimposes and draws out this flight by repeating and breaking up the time and the space of the sequences. The image of the pistol being loaded by an inexorable hand and the whispering of the offscreen voice regulate the flow. They announce the arrival of 'an efficient apparatus of the intemational police'." (S.U.K.A.)

S.U.K.A. (Sub Urban Kreative Attitude) originated in Bologna in 1991. It uses a method that leads its members to work collectively on their projects. S.U.K.A. works by integrating the various systems of visual production - 16mm film, Super8, video, and the computer - and by pirating the whole audio-video universe.
