Twenty year old Bob lives in the provincial town of Saratov. He was a wrestling champion, but received a head injury during a match. Now he works as bodyguard for the local mafia. One day his boss sends him to look for the boss's ex friend, Valera. His assignment is to get the money back that Valera robbed or kill him. When the story begins, we see Bob crossing the countryside on his motorcycle. After he arrives in Moscow, he hunts Valera out. Valera does not have the money, but Bob does not kill him and gives him another day to get the money During the night Bob meets a strange young woman who introduces him to a hidden, underground world made of sex. However, at a certain point, Bob remembers the reason for his trip. He goes off to look for a pistol. He has 24 hours to terminate his mission and return home.

Sergej Bodrov

Sergej Bodrov (Smakova village, 1948) graduated in screenwriting from the Pansoviet Film Institute (VGIK) in 1975. He worked extensively as a journalist and wrote numerous screenplays before becoming a director. In 1987 his Neprofessionaly won the prize of the jury at tha fifth Turin Film Festival. He is currently working in his own country and abroad, as exemplified by his collaboration in Alexander Rockwell's film, Somebody to Love, which he co-produced and wrote the screenplay for.
