Nico has been secretly in love with Elena for twenty years, or rather, for eighteen years, three months, and two days. He decides to abduct her from the store where she works as a saleslady. This is the way their trip to somewhere in Italy begins. This is a trip through those places that you can find here and there in the country and on the outskirts of the larger cities. This adventure is livened up by strange encounters, and ends in a nondescript picnic area, where Luca, a motorcyclist, is getting ready to eat a substantial late afternoon snack. While he is sharing his food with the fugitives, he recognizes Elena as the abducted saleslady who the newspapers were talking about. Luca manages to get the best of Nico in a scuffle. He drags Elena to his motorcycle and abducts her in turn.
