Etera and Fato live happily, but not in harmony until the day when Fato takes her photo and she disappears. Fato is left only with the camera that might contain Etera's image. He looks for her, but he does not realize that she has really always been near him, and that it was he who did not see her. At the Office of the Developing of the Emotions, a strange woman opens the camera and takes out Etera's photo. Fato is not satisfied with the image and goes to Zen Garden, where he meets a messenger who points out the sky to him and makes a gesture to indicate that he has to go up. Fato begins his ascension, which leads him to synchronize the metronomes of life. When he reaches Etera, the two disappear on their way towards the infinite.
