Monitor's

The Monitor's, a Cavanese multimedia trio, was very active in the early 1980's. It has rediscovered its partial identity in the 1990's in video works. The Monitors are a typical product of Cavanese craftsmanship, as typified in their Le stufe di Castellamonte, il Carnevale d'Ivrea, l'Erbaluce di Caluso and I torcetti di Agliè. They made the videos Culo (1992, presented at the tenth Turin Film Festival), Culattone (1993, presented at the eleventh Turin Film Festival, at the ninth Festival From Sodom to Hollywood, at the Days of Homosexual Film and Culture in Padova and at the film series, Video Centri Sociali for Radio Black-Out of Turin), and Il futuro è un buco nero (1994).
