A middle-aged woman, alone; an existential unease; a steady and indecipherable background noise. A series of signals are broadcast in the looks of the children she crosses on her way which guide her toward progressively less real places where she becomes aware of her state. When contrasted with the crude stories of the violence that the children-no-more have gone through, Peter Handke and Wim Wenders' lyric, Kindsein, completely reveals the point of no return - the loss of wonder, childhoods sixth sense, lost in the ordinary life of appearance and waiting that has been set up.
